Description
A vibrant, sweet-tart summer drink made with fresh lemon juice and blue raspberry syrup—perfect for parties, pool days, and everything in between.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 6–8 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
- 4 cups cold water (or sparkling water for fizz)
- ¾ cup blue raspberry syrup
- Optional: a few drops blue food coloring
- Garnishes: fresh raspberries, lemon slices, and mint sprigs
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- Juice lemons to get 1 cup fresh lemon juice.
- In a large pitcher, mix the cooled simple syrup, lemon juice, 4 cups cold water, and blue raspberry syrup.
- Stir in blue food coloring, if using.
- Taste and adjust with more lemon juice or syrup if needed.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice with optional garnishes.
Notes
Make lemonade ice cubes with leftovers to avoid watering it down. Add fresh fruit or herbs for a decorative touch.
