Description

A sweet, salty, crunchy Easter treat made with saltine crackers, caramelized brown sugar, melted white chocolate, and festive pastel candies.


Ingredients

  • Saltine crackers (or graham crackers)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup M&M’s Easter candies
  • 1/2 cup Mini Cadbury Eggs (lightly crushed)
  • Pastel sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add brown sugar, and stir until combined.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the hot toffee mixture over crackers and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes until caramel is bubbling, then let sit for 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle white chocolate chips over the hot caramel and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Spread melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
  9. Top with M&M’s, Mini Cadbury Eggs, and pastel sprinkles, pressing them gently.
  10. Cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  11. Break into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
