Description
A sweet, salty, crunchy Easter treat made with saltine crackers, caramelized brown sugar, melted white chocolate, and festive pastel candies.
Ingredients
- Saltine crackers (or graham crackers)
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup M&M’s Easter candies
- 1/2 cup Mini Cadbury Eggs (lightly crushed)
- Pastel sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add brown sugar, and stir until combined.
- Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
- Pour the hot toffee mixture over crackers and spread evenly.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until caramel is bubbling, then let sit for 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle white chocolate chips over the hot caramel and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Spread melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
- Top with M&M’s, Mini Cadbury Eggs, and pastel sprinkles, pressing them gently.
- Cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- Break into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
