Description
Easter Jello Pie is a vibrant, refreshing, and incredibly easy-to-make no-bake dessert with colorful layers of fruit-flavored gelatin and creamy whipped topping, all in a buttery graham cracker crust. Perfect for Easter celebrations!
Ingredients
- 1 package of fruit-flavored Jello (strawberry, lemon, lime, or any pastel-colored flavors)
- ½ cup boiling water
- ¼ cup cold water
- ½ cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 graham cracker crust (store-bought or homemade)
- Optional: Pastel food coloring
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: If using a store-bought graham cracker crust, remove it from the packaging. For a homemade crust, crush graham crackers, mix with melted butter and sugar, then press into a pie dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the Jello mixture: In a mixing bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water, then add cold water and let it cool slightly. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Add food coloring if desired.
- Layer the Jello: Pour the first Jello mixture into the graham cracker crust and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until firm enough to add the next layer.
- Repeat with another Jello flavor: Prepare a second Jello layer, pour over the first, and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes again. Repeat until all layers are set.
- Final decoration: Once all layers have set, spread whipped topping over the top and decorate with Easter sprinkles, jelly beans, or shredded coconut.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least four hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure each layer is chilled before adding the next to maintain distinct layers.
