Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves – or 2 tablespoons dried
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Optional: A few slices fresh ginger

  • Optional: A few mint or green tea leaves

Instructions

  1. Rinse lemon balm leaves under cold water and shake dry.
  2. Boil water to 160–180°F (70–80°C).
  3. Add lemon balm leaves and optional ingredients to hot water.
  4. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Strain into a mug or teapot.
  6. Sip and enjoy warm or chilled, morning or night.
