Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves – or 2 tablespoons dried
- 2 cups filtered water
- Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Optional: A few slices fresh ginger
- Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey
- Optional: A few mint or green tea leaves
Instructions
- Rinse lemon balm leaves under cold water and shake dry.
- Boil water to 160–180°F (70–80°C).
- Add lemon balm leaves and optional ingredients to hot water.
- Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain into a mug or teapot.
- Sip and enjoy warm or chilled, morning or night.
